BSI is hosting five Canadian ISO Transition Workshops at various locations across Canada in October. The workshops are designed to help attendees understand the changes to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems standards.
As a leading provider of business improvement solutions, BSI works hard to ensure it is up-to-date on the latest standards. The company has representatives on the technical committees of both standards, so it is uniquely positioned to help businesses navigate the latest revisions and the impacts of these changes on their companies.
Registering for one of the upcoming transition workshops in Halifax (October 4), Montreal (October 6), Calgary (October 18), Edmonton (October 20) and Vancouver (October 25) offers several advantages. Attendees will receive the BSI Gap Analysis Tool, which helps businesses confirm areas of conformance and identify gaps in their system. Attendees will also receive a copy of the BSI ISO Transition White Paper Pack. The standards are available for an additional cost.
During the half-day workshop, attendees will receive up-to-date information on the key changes to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. BSI’s expert presenters will provide an understanding of the 10 clauses of the new ISO Management System Annex SL, and offer insight into how the revisions provide a closer relationship between ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other ISO standards. In addition, those in attendance will get an overview of how these changes may affect the audit process, identity any gaps in their system, and learn about tools available to help them and the best practices for a smooth transition. They will walk away with a keen understanding of how the new global push for a risk-based approach to business will affect their organizations.
The workshops also offer a question and answer period and several networking opportunities. Early bird pricing ends on September 15.
In addition to the five already-announced dates and locations, BSI plans to announce dates for Ottawa and Toronto workshops. To learn more about the workshops, the speakers or to register, visit the BSI Group’s website.
