Perfectly tailored hardware features
Among the advantages of these WAGO touch panels are their fast operating speed with the high-performance Cortex A9 Multicore processor and their perfectly tailored hardware features that suit a broad variety of applications. Flexible programming is available in IEC 61131 or directly under the Linux open-source operating system, and the control panels can connect to WAGO cloud solutions.
Wainbee can supply three product families for different operating requirements. Standard Line devices have resistive touchscreens for standard control-cabinet applications, while Marine Line family has black matte anti-reflection surfaces and special marine approvals that suit ship-building tasks. The Advanced Line consists of capacitive, multi-touch devices with glass surfaces, as well as greater mechanical and chemical resistance for more extensive requirements.
WAGO 600 touch panels also come with three different scaled software functionalities:
- Web Panel. In this configuration, the operating and display device has an optimized web browser for accessing WAGO controllers with standard web protocols with integrated web visualization for display. These visualizations can also be displayed on mobile devices.
- Visu Panel. Suitable for displaying visualizations generated with e!COCKPIT and obtaining the data referenced in it from field devices via Modbus TCP. Unlike with Web Panels, the necessary computing power is divided between two devices, so the Visu Panel performs the computing necessary for displaying the visualization, offloading the controller.
- Control Panel. Here, operating and display devices enable simultaneous performance of control and visualization, representing a compact form for an automation solution. Through a corresponding library, control panels become IoT controllers that send information from the field level to the cloud, where it is aggregated and used for analysis.
