HBM is known globally as a trusted manufacturer of reliable precision transducers and measurement solutions. It’s no surprise, then, that its QuantumX MX403B four-channel voltage measurement module is a top choice for applications that call for the precise acquisition of voltages from 10 to 1,000 volts.
A high-quality amplifier
The QuantumX MX403B four-channel module has been developed specifically for precise acquisition of voltages up to 1,000 volts, though it is also used to measure small differential voltages at a high electric potential. The amplifier is compliant with the latest versions of the IEC 61010 measuring instrument standard, and is certified by the German VDE Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies, which means its high level of protection is guaranteed.
The unit has many features that make it an ideal choice for applications in the laboratory, test benches or in the field, including the testing of mechatronic components with electrically driven actuators, and the testing of energy storage devices. It has four isolated differential measurement channels for direct measurement of voltages up to 1,000 VDC or 1,000 Vrms AC. The measuring ranges of 10, 100 and 1,000 volts can be freely parameterized, enabling the acquisition of high voltages against reference ground, and the measurement of small differential voltages at a high potential against reference ground.
Every channel offers analog anti-aliasing filters, as well as 24-bit AD converter and digital filters. Seamless integration into the established QuantumX Series allows synchronous acquisition of mechanical, electrical and thermal quantities, as well as acquisition of CANbus signals.
HBM’s QuantumX MX403B four-channel module is available in Canada from Durham Instruments, a Pickering, Ont.-based distributor. The leading company supplies measuring instruments from top manufacturers to a wide range of industrial users.
