Vibra Finish has earned a reputation as an industry leader when it comes to manufacturing vibratory finishing equipment and providing expert production finishing services. The Mississauga, Ont.-based company prides itself on being a one-stop shop, offering new and used equipment, production finishing and rebuilding services, packaging, sorting and light assembly. Among the company’s capabilities is the in-house custom finishing of 3D printed parts; however, Vibra Finish can also design and manufacture machinery that allows the customer to finish the 3D printed parts in their own plant.
Vibra Finish has the equipment and expertise to offer production finishing services for 3D printed parts. The company offers deburring, burnishing, descaling, vibrapeening, polishing, rust removal, cleaning, drying, corrosion protection and peening services to meet its customers’ requirements. And, to ensure the part will have the customer’s desired finish, Vibra Finish has a Samples Parts Processing Laboratory.
“Let our expertise find the solution to common problems such as rust, heat treat scale, burrs, rough surfaces, jagged edges [and] greasy/oily parts,” the company explains. “Our surface finishing techniques ensure that your parts are ready for coating, painting and/or assembly.”
If the customer prefers to have the finishing equipment in-house, Vibra Finish also has the expertise to manufacture the equipment to meet the customer’s exact needs. The company can produce:
- Vibratory bowls, in batch, flow through and flat bottom styles, built to the specifications of each application;
- Vibratory dryers, designed as standalone units or integrated with a vibratory deburring or burnishing machine as a complete system;
- Vibratory tubs, in long low-profile and deep-profile designs; and
- Centrifugal finishers, which can offer a treatment intensity up to 20 times higher than vibratory finishing processes. Recommended for small flat parts that normally stick together, this system can be totally automated to include weighing systems, drying and magnetic separation.
