Firing Industries is the distributor that industry continues to trust for high-quality complex process equipment. Union Process is one of the manufacturers specializing in industrial grinders for food processing, pharmaceuticals, laboratory research, and other sectors that rely heavily on particle size reduction and fineness of powder.
Applications in these sectors require continuous processing of large amounts of material. For these, Union Process has developed the “C” Series of continuous processing attritors – including the unique C-20 Continuous Attritor.
A workhorse grinding machine
The “C” series consists of industrial grinders that are workhorse machines, which use grinding media measuring from one-eighth to three-eighths of an inch. The C-20 is particularly appropriate for grinding applications requiring continuous production of high quantities. Union Process recommends this instrument for ceramics, paint, coatings, chocolate, agricultural products, and metal oxides, among other products.
Low-maintenance and highly efficient, the C-20 Continuous Attritor is engineered with a swivel head that enables easy access to the top of the grinding chamber. It also has a 60-horsepower variable frequency drive, tangential inlet assembly, a media charging port, and a media discharge plug – all of which enable easy maintenance.
The C-20 is just one of the many types of industrial grinders that Union Process manufactures, of course. As a globally respected manufacturer of size-reduction and dispersing equipment for a broad range of research and workplace applications, the company has a wide variety of attritors, from the ruggedly built SD series for food-processing applications, to custom-designed variations for a company’s specific grinding tasks. Union Process also offers an impressive range of grinding media, for refining particles and reducing their sizes in attritors.
For continuous material grinding of large volumes of material, look no further than the C-20.
