Minco’s lineup of RTD and thermocouple temperature sensor assemblies includes tip-sensitive, spring-loaded models that provide fast and accurate readings from bearings, blocks and other solids.
The tip-sensitive spring-loaded RTDs and thermocouples feature Minco’s stainless steel spring-loaded holder, which ensures solid contact in drilled holes and has a built-in oil seal. Both also feature a stainless steel sensing probe with a copper alloy tip for quick response to temperature changes. The probe is designed to operate in temperatures from -50 up to 260 degrees C.
Minco’s Temptran RTD transmitters and Temptran thermocouple transmitters provide a 4-20 mA signal that can be sent over long distances with a simple two-wire system.
The company’s RTD and thermocouple temperature sensor assemblies are available from Mod-Tronic Instruments. High temperature, explosion-proof and flame-proof versions are also available. The standard, easy-to-order assemblies fit a variety of applications.
