Rosta is proud to offer machine components for the maintenance-free tensioning of belts and chain drives. From its easy-to-install chain and belt tensioner devices to its self-adjusting motorbases, its lineup is designed to eliminate periodical re-tensioning maintenance, as well as common problems such as the compensation of lengthening due to age and belt slip. However, the company’s portfolio would not be complete without its tensioning accessories, which support Rosta’s critical components.
Rosta’s accessory offering includes:
- Chain Rider Set Type P. The Rosta chain rider set is assembled on the tensioning element as a low-cost and low-noise alternative for tensioning chain drives. The high-quality rider is made of friction-resistant industrial plastic. When using this set, the maximum permissible chain speed should not exceed 1.5 metres a second.
- Sprocket Wheel Set Type N. This set completes the tensioning element for applications in chain drives. The sprocket wheel runs on a self-lubricating ball bearing 2Z.
- Tensioning Roller Light Type RL. This tensioning roller, designed for use with light-duty drives, is made of industrial plastic material with two self-lubricating ball bearings 2Z.
- Tensioning Roller Type R. This roller is made of high-quality industrial plastic material with two self-lubricating ball bearings 2Z.
In addition to tensioning technology, Rosta offers oscillating conveyor technology and rubber suspension technology. The Switzerland-based company has subsidiaries across the globe, including a Canadian office in Goodwood, Ont., where it supplies its rubber suspension elements and special machine components to various industries. The company works closely with its Canadian customers to select or design components that meet their exact requirements.
