As a leading metal parts manufacturer, Matritech offers multiple services under one roof. In addition to cutting, punching, bending, welding, machining, tooling and extrusion services, the Drummondville, Que.-based company has the capability to perform two types of metal stamping.
Stamping capability and capacity
Matritech’s in-house mechanical presses have a pressing capacity of up to 500 tonnes, and are compatible with most toolings and dies designed and manufactured in the company’s factory in Quebec.
The company performs two types of stamping procedures, both of which can be done from blank parts or with metal coils to ensure high-volume production. The first type is a transformation procedure that forms flat metal with the help of dies, while the second type is a manufacturing technique in which the company forms an object that cannot be unbended from a thin piece of sheet metal.
The Matritech advantage
There are several benefits to working with Matritech. Because its machines have large capacities and tables, the company can easily transition to high-volume production runs. And, for projects that require the use of the company’s multiple services — like cutting-bending and high-volume stamping, for example — transitioning between the two is easy because the records of the parts and quality criteria have already been coded. Another advantage is the cost reduction that is realized through the optimization of materials and reduced labour time.
Matritech aims to be an extension of its customers’ businesses, offering itself as a one-stop shop. The result is a company with expertise in all areas of metal parts manufacturing, backed by more than 25 years of experience, offering lower cost options, simplified manufacturing and improved quality of metal parts.
