Moving materials such as sand, plastic pellets and powders through hoses can create static. Hi-Tech Duravent can help. The manufacturer of flexible hoses and ducting offers the UFD-SD and SDH hoses, which are specially formulated with a static dissipative thermoplastic polyurethane.
The UFD-SD hose is reinforced with a wire helix. It has excellent flexibility, abrasion resistance and clarity. Free of halogens and surface oils, the UFD-SD can operate in temperatures between -20 degrees F to 200 degrees F.
The SDH hose is constructed with a specially formulated static dissipative polyurethane reinforced with a plastic helix and copper grounding wire. It has a smooth interior with excellent flexibility, abrasion resistance and clarity. SDH is free of halogens and surface oils, and can operate in temperatures from -20 degrees F to 180 degrees F.
Both hoses are available in standard lengths of 25 and 50 feet, and a variety of diameters.
