Exel North America offers an innovative robotic sprayer for solvent-based paint: the PPH 707-SB. This electrostatic sprayer can be incorporated into any type of multi-axis robot. It features a high-speed turbine (HVT) with a magnetic bell. The high-speed rotation — at up to 85,000 rpm — provides many benefits, including a high paint flow and improved atomization fineness.
This applicator was designed specifically for the automotive industry and it provides a high-quality finish for primers, bases and clearcoats. The PPH 707-SB will meet all requirements for reliability, application aspect, transfer efficiency (V.O.C. control), simple maintenance, and product waste reduction.
Performance: The PPH 707-SB offers high performance, as it has a high voltage unit (up to 100 kV maximum). It also has Hi-TE dual shaping air capability and a dual circuit for rapid colour change.
Flexibility: This sprayer is also flexible, as it can provide wide or narrow spray patterns and is lightweight enough to be used on any painting robot.
Reliability: The PPH 707-SB offers long life with its titanium bellcup and valves with lives of 2.5 million cycles. The high-speed turbine also has a warranty for seven years or 30,000 hours.
Easy maintenance: Another major feature of the PPH 707-SB is the simplified maintenance. The sprayer was designed to make maintenance easy with a magnetic fastening system for the bellcup, quick disconnect, valves and fittings with easy access, body design that keeps out dust and droplets, and no need for a calibration tool.
The PPH 707 SB is one of the many finishing solutions Exel North America offers through its Sames brand. To learn more about the range of equipment available, visit the company’s website.
