Miura has grown to be one of the largest industrial steam boiler manufacturers in the world, and with good reason — the company provides high-quality boilers that allow its customers to conserve oil and gas resources while saving money and reducing emissions. It’s win-win.
Miura is known worldwide for its innovative and efficient boiler designs. All of the company’s boilers produce steam in five minutes using its exclusive floating head design, a feature that results in up to 20 per cent oil and gas cost savings. In addition, the company’s low NOx steam and hot water boilers meet and exceed current and proposed regulations for nitrogen oxide emissions levels.
Miura’s LX Series models are gas fired, available in natural gas or propane. High- and low-pressure steam options are available, in 300 MAWP, 250 MAWP, 170 MAWP or 15 MAWP. The units are compact. In fact, the LX 200 boiler can fit through a standard doorway.
The company’s EX Series steam boilers are available in dual fuel fired natural gas, propane or #2 fuel oil. Its EX Gas/Oil Series High-Pressure Steam Boiler is the most versatile industrial steam boiler in the world, according to the company. High-pressure options are available in 300 MAWP, 250 MAWP or 170 MAWP.
Hot water versions are also available for both the LX and EX Series, depending on the model.
For those customers requiring more than one boiler, multiple installation (MI) is an option, and allows the boilers to be turned on or off as needed to meet peak demand hours, while operating at greater efficiency throughout the day and reducing wear and tear. Miura boilers also require less space and feature an online maintenance system that records an event four seconds before it occurs, so it can be diagnosed and corrected faster.
