York Fluid Controls supplies diaphragm pumps that provide unparalleled reliability and performance. For 55 years, the Brampton, Ont.-based company has been distributing high-quality pumps designed to reduce downtime and minimize maintenance requirements — necessities for any industrial company with an eye on the bottom line.
The company offers models — from such manufacturers as Elima-Matic and Blagdon Pumps — that are self-priming and can handle infinite variable flows up to 90 per cent solids. They can be used to pump materials that are abrasive, corrosive or combustible.
The lineup includes diaphragm pumps from Elima-Matic, which feature port sizes ranging from ¼ inch to three inches. Available with either plastic or metal construction, the pumps are self-priming and offer reliable performance with leak-free, non-icing and non-stalling designs. The largest model can achieve a flow rate of up to 984 lpm (260 gpm).
The company also carries a wide selection of air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps — high-pressure, hygienic, FDA, bespoke, PFTE, metallic and non-metallic — from Blagdon Pumps. AODD pumps are ideal for handling difficult liquids at relatively low flows and pressures. Pumps with flow rates up to 350 lpm (92 gpm) and handling pressures up to 16 bar (232 psi) are available.
“Our specialty is providing pumps for use in extreme conditions and applications,” the company says, adding that they can handle various materials, such as acids, concrete, coolants, effluents and fuel. “We have experience providing equipment for use in a wide variety of industries, including chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, automotive, pulp and paper, environmental, utilities and municipalities.”
