Boyce Technologies, a group of creative engineers who build custom solutions, has realized many benefits from working with Harting’s ruggedized hardware. In a recently released video, Charles Boyce, president of Boyce Technologies, explains how Harting products have made building customized solutions more simple.
One of Boyce Technologies’ recent projects involved developing the Help Point System, a device that provides hands-free VoIP intercom and video surveillance in harsh transit environments. The company used Harting PushPull connectors in the development of the device.
“When we first saw the PushPull, it was too good to be true,” says Charles Boyce. “The quality is amazing. The innovation is superior. So when you need the ruggedness, you get it. When you need the ease of maintenance, you get it.”
Boyce explains that Harting’s PushPull connectors have proven to be extremely reliable.
“In the hundreds and hundreds of Help Points we’ve developed, there’s not a single failure of any cable, any connector, any pin, anything at all,” he says.
Harting PushPull connectors were specifically designed for robust and compact applications where a high density and a high protection level is required. They provide compact outdoor rated solutions for a safe shock-and-vibration-resistant connection.
Boyce is extremely pleased with the service the company has received from Harting, and is certain that the high-quality connector played a huge role in the success of the device it developed.
“Harting PushPull has gotten the Health Point to success.”
