The Docks, an entertainment facility located on the Toronto waterfront, needed a flexible and virtually soundproof glazed operable wall system to partition space for private functions. Provincial Partitions had the solution.
Called “The Next Level”, the clear anodized aluminum finish rail system provided by Provincial Partitions can turn an open 5,750-square-foot area into a variety of smaller rooms, all overlooking the massive dance hall below and set against a backdrop of the spectacular Toronto cityscape and Centre Island.
The three 40-foot by 12-foot operable walls are comprised of more than 15 dual panels, which provide an STC sound rating of 44. With clear tempered glass and beautifully finished clear anodized aluminum panels, the operable walls complement the look and feel of this modern, open facility.
The ultimate in flexible space management, Operable Folding Walls from Provincial Partitions are ideal for functional areas that require changes quickly and easily. Panels may easily be located along a track run to act as visual screens or to form complete walls. Turning right-angle corners requires no difficult switching mechanisms. These operable wall systems combine the advantages of flexibility and speed, and provide customers with attractive functional space management divider systems.
Provincial Partitions’ walls can be used in a wide range of applications, including:
- Banquet halls;
