When measurements are required in harsh environments like land-based and offshore drilling applications, reliability, durability and performance are critical. APG’s Hammer Union Pressure Transmitter, available in Canada from Durham Instruments, is a rugged solution that hits all of the above points, and more.
Built for performance
The Hammer Union 1502 Fitting Pressure Transmitter is built to last a minimum of 10 million cycles thanks to its rugged construction. APG uses a NACE-compliant nickel alloy and welded construction, making it ideal for tough oil and gas drilling and production applications. And, because it is designed for optimal performance in such applications, the unit offers exceptional shock and vibration resistance. In addition, the CSA/ATEX/IECEx-approved transmitter can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to 85 degrees C, and offers ±0.25 per cent accuracy (linearity, hysteresis and repeatability) of full scale.
Units are available with outputs of 4-20 mA or 0-5 VDC, and pressure ranges up to 15,000 psi.
