Walter Surface Technologies’ exclusive narrow crown patented technology has been extended to its Zip family of cutting wheels — all 4-½- and five-inch ZIPCUT, ZIP+, ZIP Stainless and ZIP ALU cutting wheels.
The Type 27 narrow crown patented technology is applauded for its safety features, while also being efficient and high performing.
It’s safe: The technology incorporates an improved, refined metal cladding, which maximizes safety by preventing contact with the workpiece. This increases worker safety when cutting into metal applications.
It’s efficient: The refined metal cladding allows operators to perform deeper cuts. It also extends the life of the cutting wheel by allowing more cuts per unit.
It’s high performing: Operators benefit from the best performance available because it combines the extended life of a flat Type 1 wheel, with the extra stiffness of a depressed centre cutting wheel.
