EXAIR’s new Ion Air Cannon quietly, efficiently and safely eliminates static electricity and dust from up to 15 feet away. Independent laboratory tests certify that it meets the rigorous safety, health and environmental standards required to attain the CE and UL marks in Canada, the U.S. and the European Union. It is also RoHS compliant.
The newly designed Ion Air Cannon includes a metal armoured high voltage cable to protect against abrasion and cuts, a new, selectable voltage power supply, a replaceable emitter point, integrated ground connection and electromagnetic shielding. It incorporates EXAIR’s patented Super Air Amplifier, which minimizes compressed air use by inducing surrounding airflow at a ratio of 22:1. The unique amplified airflow carries the ions to the target, making it possible to eliminate static charges in less than a half second. In addition, users can easily control air volume and velocity. They have the capability to either gently wipe a surface or forcefully blow away contaminants, depending on the application’s needs.
The Ion Air Cannon comes with a sturdy stand that incorporates a swivel adjustment to direct the airflow. A hose or tube can be easily connected to the air intake to draw air from another area. In addition, the electrical ion source is shockless, with no radioactive element.
Thanks to its compact design, the Ion Air Cannon is ideal for benchtops, machine mounting and hard-to-reach spaces that require a concentrated flow of static-eliminating ions. Suitable applications include bag opening, sheet separation, cleaning moulded parts, dust removal prior to painting, package cleaning and container neutralization.
