Manufacturing giant 3M has earned a reputation for using science, technology, creativity and innovation to create progressive products. The newest additions to its Scotch-Brite brand of industrial abrasives are no exception.
Scotch-Brite 7447 PRO and 7448 PRO feature a breakthrough fibre coating technology, which allows it to cut faster and produce a more consistent scratch, reducing the time it takes to scuff, prep or finish parts. This results in major productivity improvements for users. The technology also offers high flexibility thanks to its strong and durable non-woven construction. This allows the abrasives to scuff, prep or finish contoured parts and hard-to-reach areas.
Available in discs, sheets, rolls and hand pads, Scotch-Brite 7447 PRO and 7448 PRO can help reduce surface prep time on a variety of applications, including:
- Paint and primer preparation on airplanes, cars, trucks and other motor vehicles;
- Scuff sanding of sealer coatings on cabinetry and furniture; and
- Refine finishes on stainless steel appliances, food processing, pharmaceutical and surgical equipment.
3M’s Scotch-Brite 7447 PRO and 7448 PRO are available in Canada from Adheco, a Toronto-based provider of quality adhesives, pressure-sensitive tapes and abrasives. 3M is one of the world-class suppliers it has partnered with to offer high-quality products to the industrial market.
