Megger products provide testing solutions in the most critical maintenance areas, including cable fault locating. The company offers a range of multimeters for electrical and electronic fault finding and testing, as well as clamp meters for diagnosing faults on live electrical circuits.
Multimeters: Megger’s hand-held analog, digital and analog/digital multimeters combine ruggedness, reliability, accuracy and ease of use. These robust instruments are not only suitable for general purposes, but they also operate in harsh environments thanks to watertight seals at the rotary switch, input terminals and seams that keep out dust, dirt and moisture.
Among the company’s lineup is the AVO300 range of digital multimeters — tough compact instruments designed for the contracting electrician, but also suitable for a wide range of applications and users. The instrument offers a range of measurement modes for AC and DC applications, resistance and current measurement.
The Megger AVO410 digital multimeter, designed for the contracting electrician, is also suitable for a wide range of applications and users. Meanwhile, the Megger DCM330 fork multimeter is a convenient, compact instrument designed to measure AC current up to 200 A, and additionally perform all the functions of a basic multimeter.
Clamp meters: The Megger range of clamp meters are a safe, non-intrusive way to diagnose faults on live electrical circuits.
The DCM320 is the ideal clamp meter for use during the installation, maintenance and checking of electrical systems and equipment. The large clamp jaw enables cables to be measured up to 27 mm in diameter, covering the majority of applications in the electrical system installation industry.
The DCM300E is designed primarily to check earth leakage currents with a dedicated 30 mA range, providing resolution down to 10 µA; however, its capabilities extend to measuring currents of up to 300 A AC, making it a highly versatile instrument.
The DCM340 is ideal for use in the installation, maintenance, monitoring or checking of AC or DC electrical systems and equipment. It is safety rated to IEC 61010-1 Cat III 600 V.
The DCM310 is also designed for use during the installation, maintenance and checking of electrical systems and equipment. Its large clamp jaw enables cables to be measured up to 27 mm in diameter, covering the majority of applications within the electrical system installation industry.
