When plant or product applications call for outstanding temperature and process instrument performance, Love Controls can help. The company produces a broad range of instruments and sensors for temperature and process control. Among the company’s offerings are Balco wire sensor probes, commonly used in HVAC and other applications that measure the temperature of air, water or like materials.
Like all Love Controls products, the probes are designed and manufactured to the highest standards of quality and reliability. They are backed by a solid warranty and years of practical field experience.
With a base resistance of 1,000 ohms, Balco wire sensors can be used as either a point sensing probe or an averaging probe, which measures the average temperature through the total length of the probe. Ideal for air ducts and other applications requiring an averaging reading, the wire sensor probes may be bent with standard tube bending tools. The probes are available straight, bent to 45 degrees or bent to 90 degrees.
Balco sensor probes typically have a plain sheath with no permanently attached fittings. They are usually mounted with the use of a compression fitting (supplied separately) or other mechanical support.
Balco wire sensor probes are available through Brampton, Ont.-based Mod-Tronic Instruments, a representative and distributor of leading manufacturers of industrial and commercial sensors, transducers, heaters, flex-circuits and instrumentation. Contact Mod-Tronic Instruments to learn more about Love Controls’ Balco wire sensor probes or any of the company’s other offerings.
