Masking protection is another category of useful goods in MOCAP’s wide inventory of industrial products, and a popular choice in this group is a line of silicone rubber tubing. This is a highly durable and reusable solution for masking studs, pins, and other rounded objects needing a longer length than standard silicone caps can provide.
Stocked in 50- and 100-foot lengths (i.e. 15.2 and 30.5 metres), MOCAP’s SRT series of silicone rubber tubing is also strong enough to resist temperatures of up to 260 degrees Celsius, even upon reuse, due to heat stabilization.
Available in 21 different sizes
MOCAP has manufactured its SRT series of silicone rubber tubing by extruding it from a specially formulated silicone with a hardness rating of 60 Shore A. A non-staining product, it is available in custom diameters, sizes, and profiles for specific work applications; MOCAP encourages clients to ask about the possibility of custom-designing this tubing. Customers may contact the company’s exclusive Application Advisor to help with unique applications.
This protective silicone tubing is available in 21 standard sizes. Inner diameters range from 2.6 to 24.8 millimetres (mm), and wall thickness goes from one to 1½ mm. All types are ready for immediate shipment upon order.
The SRT line of tubing is far from the only masking solution that MOCAP makes, of course. The company also manufactures and supplies paper, EPDM, and silicone caps and plugs, as well as high-temperature vinyl caps and plugs, high-temperature poly tapes and discs, and silicone X-treme tape.
