MOCAP takes great pride in manufacturing its products using the best materials available, and those most appropriate for caps, plugs, grips, masking and protective products. From plastic, rubber and flexible vinyl to paper, extruded silicone and extruded plastic, it has the materials required to meet the needs of each application.
MOCAP’s standard plastic caps and plugs are constructed from low-density polyethylene; however, the company also has the capability to offer plastic injection moulding of polypropylene, high-density polyethylene, nylon, thermoplastic elastomers and virtually any thermoplastic resin. Plastic injection moulding enables the company to produce plastic parts to tight tolerances and demanding specifications.
MOCAP’s rubber caps, plugs and tubing are produced from moulded and extruded silicone and EPDM materials. The company can also manufacture rubber products by moulding a wide range of thermoset rubber materials, including EPDM, natural neoprene, nitrile, SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) and silicone.
Customers can choose from a broad range of caps, plugs and grips made from flexible vinyl (PVC) plastic. This material can also be custom dip moulded if the customer requires a specific colour, hardness or texture.
MOCAP’s paper caps and plugs are produced using tough, yet flexible, natural paper that is environmentally friendly and recyclable. This material can handle temperatures up to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F).
Extruded silicone rubber
MOCAP works with the highest quality silicone compounds to produce its extruded silicone rubber products, including its silicone tubing and self-bonding silicone X-Treme Tape.
MOCAP also manufactures a full line of extruded plastic tubes in polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG). This material is commonly used for products that require clear packaging.
