Metal manufacturing services
Just some of the manufacturing processes Matritech can perform include tooling, stamping, extrusion, laser cutting, robotic bending, CNC machining, welding, assembly and coating.
Matritech has invested in a completely robotic bending cell, which is the first of its kind in Canada. The robotic cell uses two gripping arms to perform bending operations and to place workpieces on an automated conveyor. It offers a number of advantages, including high manufacturing speed, lower setup times, and high precision.
Matritech can fully design and manufacture dies in-house. This capability provides manufacturing flexibility and helps ensure quality control at every stage. The company has an experienced design team that can find solutions to any challenge, such as oversized parts, fine details and complex geometric shapes.
The company has machining centres with two pallet changers. This equipment offers high-speed production. The machining operations are optimized due to synergy between Matritech's tooling designers and programmers.
A variety of other manufacturing services are available. For instance, Matritech has mechanical presses with capacities up to 500 tonnes and large tables. The company has also developed a department that specializes in aluminum extrusion in order to meet growing demand. The manufacturer's welding department is equipped with multi-axle welding robots and can handle all types of steel, stainless steel and aluminum assembly projects.
