Ethernet technology-based networks play an increasingly important role in industry today. Lapp’s ETHERLINE industrial Ethernet components offer a reliable and secure system solution for network technology.
The company’s ETHERLINE offering includes distribution components such as switches, routers, cables, connectors and accessories for total network security and availability; security systems via firewall solutions; and services such as consulting, network design and planning, analysis and support.
Among the lineup are ETHERLINE CAT.6A and CAT.7 cables suitable for stationary applications. The four pairs are individually wrapped in metal foil, and the overall braid provides additional protection against EMI. Three different jacket options are available. Meanwhile, ETHERLINE TORSION is a two-pair industrial Ethernet cable designed for high-torsion stress applications. It is tested with more than one million bending cycles and a right/left movement of 180 degrees per metre.
ETHERLINE is just one of a lineup of brands the company carries. The other brands include ÖLFLEX flexible power and control cables; UNITRONIC data cables; HITRONIC fibre optic cables; SKINTOP strain relief cable glands; SILVYN robust cable protection and supply systems; EPIC environmentally protected industrial connectors; and FLEXIMARK cable marking systems.
Lapp Group employs about 2,500 people in 50 companies around the world. Its range of products includes cables, cable accessories, cable handling systems, cable harnessing, industrial connectors and communication technology.
