L. & M. Precision Products Inc. has more than 50 years of experience machining a variety of materials. In addition to a range of metals and plastics, the leading manufacturer of custom precision-machined products also works with ECO BRASS (C69300), a high performance lead-free brass.
A trouble-free material
ECO BRASS is used in the manufacture of PEX fittings, stop valves, ball valves, commercial faucets, residential faucets, and many other products used in plumbing projects that require a high-quality, lead-free, durable solution.
There are a variety of advantages to working with ECO BRASS. It is compliant with the Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act, as well as NSF 14. The 100 per cent recyclable material is arsenic free, bismuth free and lead free. ECO BRASS is corrosion resistant to chemicals found in water and gas and, in fact, offers equivalent wear resistance to commercial bronze. Plus, it is as strong as 304 stainless steel, it can handle high temperatures, and offers resistance to cracking and stress.
In addition, ECO BRASS is very easy to work with. It is economically machineable, forgeable and castable, and offers excellent brazing and soldering.
