Keyence is calling its VHX-5000 digital microscope “the new standard for microscopes” thanks to four advanced features that allow users to instantly view any area completely in focus.
- Composition. The microscope features live depth composition that eliminates the concept of focus adjustment. Thanks to a drastically improved camera frame rate, the VHX-5000 is able to capture a fully focused image with the entire field of view in focus, and it’s as simple as displaying the location to be captured. The system is always in focus. Simply move to the area that you want to view, and focus is adjusted and compiled automatically. The result is a fully focused image in as little as one second. Even when moving to another area, the system will recognize the change and rescan, eliminating the need for focus adjustment. 3D observation is also possible with this system.
- High resolution. The system offers high-resolution HDR with increased resolution limits. Using advanced technology only available through Keyence, the microscope obtains high-resolution imaging with a single-wavelength light, and the HDR function captures high-colour gradation images at different exposures, which are then compiled into a single image.
- User friendly. The system features an “Easy Mode” function. Users simply select the desired observation mode, and the microscope will automatically configure the optimum settings. And when a function requires multiple steps, a display appears next to the button, walking the user through the next operation with on-screen instructions.
- All-in-one design. The microscope has an “Observe, capture, measure” workflow, giving users the ability to complete all operations with just one unit. This reduces wasted time, allowing the user to concentrate on the original analysis and development.
