Dust, fumes and other pollutants can be found in many manufacturing environments. Hose and ducting products can help reduce the amount of contaminants, creating a cleaner and safer facility. For clean room environments, in particular, these products are a must-have tool to help control the level of contamination present. But, like any product used in a clean room environment, hose and ducting products must be approved for use in such applications. Hi-Tech Duravent can help. Its RFH-White thermoplastic hose is designed for light material handling, fume removal and dust control, and is suitable for pharmaceutical, food and other clean room applications thanks to its many best-in-class features.
Approved by the FDA
The RFH-White thermoplastic hose is FDA approved, which makes it suitable for use in food, pharmaceutical, medical and laboratory applications. Plus, no cements, glues or adhesives are used in the manufacturing process.
This medium weight, flexible hose is constructed of white thermoplastic rubber reinforced with a steel wire helix, a material and design that offers excellent resistance to chemical, moisture, UV rays and abrasion. It is also resistant to extreme temperatures, as it has the capability to operate in a wide range of temperatures, from -51 to 135 degrees C (-60 to 275 degrees F).
RFH-White is available with an inside diameter of two to 12 inches, and standard lengths of 25 to 50 feet. It can be supplied with cuffed end finishes, and can be ordered in metric diameters.
