For 35 years, industrial clients have relied on EXAIR Corporation for its compressed-air products, including nozzles for treating products with sprayed air. One of these potent products is the one-inch High Power Flat Super Air Nozzle, designed to handle tight spaces while saving users long-term costs.
A strong blowing force
The EXAIR High Power Flat Super Air Nozzle is built for a variety of workplace applications, such as ejecting heavy parts and slugs, removing chips, cleaning and drying parts, liquid blow-off, and cooling. It is constructed of zinc aluminum alloy, which makes it strong enough for the most rugged industrial tasks.
The nozzle has a unique design that enables application in small spaces: it produces a flat, 25-millimetre-wide air stream with a blowing force of 462 grams when the user positions it about 30 centimetres from the intended target. Not only is this design compatible with tight spots; it also allows for efficient operation that saves money over alternative tools.
EXAIR’s own patented technology maximizes the entrained airflow of the nozzle while minimizing the noise level. The instrument releases an exact amount of air through the 64-millimetre air gap opening, which is set with a stainless steel shim between the body and the removable cap. This air stream pulls in the surrounding air in the room to create a wide, high-force stream of high-speed, laminar air flow. Users can adjust the force and flow with the simple installation of different shim thicknesses, and the aim of the nozzle can be manipulated with optional swivel fittings and Stay Set Flexible Hoses.
The High Power Flat Air Nozzle has an air consumption of 495 standard litres per minute at 80 pounds per square inch (gage), and its 82-decibel noise level meets the acceptable occupational safety standards of most jurisdictions in Canada. Thus the nozzle is not only powerful and efficient, but also safe.
EXAIR’s 1″ High Power Flat Air Nozzle is available for only US$45.
