Hi-Tech Duravent has launched a new product aimed at meeting the demands of the insulation industry. Its durable IBH insulation hose is the ideal choice for blowing insulation, an economic way to install insulation quickly and efficiently in any construction project.
The IBH hose has many features that make it a top choice for insulation blowing, ventilation, exhaust and dehumidification applications. Made of a polyethylene wall and a polypropylene/polyethylene blended non-marking, durable external helix, the hose is resistant to chemicals, moisture, abrasion and being crushed. Plus, it’s lightweight, flexible and easy to drag. The interior is also tough, capable of handling the rigours of insulation blowing. In addition, the interior texture of the hose fluffs the insulation as it blows out. And if there are any blockages, they’re easy to spot thanks to the hose’s clear wall.
The insulation hose can operate in temperatures from -34 to 54 degrees C (-30 to 130 degrees F), and comes in standard lengths of 50 feet. The hose is available with a range of inside diameters, from 1.5 to four inches, allowing it to meet the needs of a variety of applications.
The IBH insulation hose joins Hi-Tech Duravent’s wide selection of high-quality flexible hose and ducting products ideal for a broad range of industries and applications. With facilities in Mississauga, Ont., Abbeville, S.C., Plymouth, Ind., and Phoenix, Ariz., the manufacturer is well-positioned to meet its customers’ needs across North America.
