N.R. Murphy manufactures a wide selection of dust collection systems designed to keep workplaces, and workers, safe. Its lineup includes downdraft workbenches, which are benches with built-in dust collection systems.
A stationary dust collecting solution
N.R. Murphy’s Model DDWB downdraft workbench is a stationary dust collector with an efficient filtering system. This unit is suitable for collecting all types of dust from sanding, grinding, drilling and cutting applications in aerospace, automotive and metalworking industries.
Available in 1,800, 2,500 and 4,800 C.F.M. models with an integral motor, these units efficiently collect airborne particles by collecting contaminated air, drawing this air back through the support grating, and passing it through the filtering system. The clean air is then returned via a single-stage heavy-duty fan motor to the work area. Not only are these units extremely efficient, but they are also extremely quiet.
Downdraft workbenches are also available without built-in dust collectors for connecting to existing dust collection systems. If the three standard sizes don’t meet the needs of the application, custom-designed workbenches are also available.
N.R. Murphy’s sales technicians, backed by its factory application engineers, are qualified to survey customer workplaces and make specific recommendations to solve their plant pollution problems. In addition to downdraft workbenches, the company offers a selection of dust collectors, fans and more.
