The KERN HFC Series crane scale with hand-held terminal, available in Canada from Digital Measurement Metrology (DMM), is designed to measure tensile force quickly and accurately. The high-quality instrument offers low weight and compact dimensions, making it the ideal measuring solution for applications where space is limited and weight must be determined quickly during loading and unloading operations, such as building sites, freight centres, ports and harsh environments.
The HFC KERN crane scale has the capability to read weighing data from objects up to 100 metres away thanks to its integrated radio module. This allows operators to remain at a safe distance in harsh environments. And, during the weighing operation, if the weighing value remains unchanged, the weight indicated on the display is automatically frozen until the “HOLD” key is pressed.
Another feature is the unit’s long operating time. The HFC Series can operate up to 30 hours without backlight. The unit comes with an internal rechargeable battery pack with a charging time of 12 hours.
Four models are available, with capacities ranging from 1,000 kilograms up to 10,000 kilograms.
An ISO 17025 accredited calibration certificate is available upon request with the HFC KERN crane scale. DMM has the capability to calibrate test and measuring equipment for companies across Canada to the ISO 17025 standard, thanks to its in-house laboratory and expert technicians.
