Digital Measurement Metrology (DMM) has a reputation for quality work and customer satisfaction thanks to its 360-degree approach to service. This approach provides a high level of service and installation of metrology instruments for manufacturers across Canada, and includes a list of capabilities. The Brampton, Ont.-based company now includes accredited inspection services among the offerings in its ISO 17025 Accredited Testing Lab.
DMM’s third-party inspection service includes checking parts and certifying fixtures up to 16 inches by 20 inches by 14 inches long, using a co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM) made by Helmel. A Shimana Video Measuring Machine and Optical Comparator are used for contactless measurement on critical features. All of the company’s inspectors are factory trained to perform these measurements.
DMM’s lab also includes a complete range of calipers, micrometers and height gauges to perform simple measurements on parts. Other parameters it can check include surface roughness and Rockwell hardness of materials. The lab, in fact, is an ISO 17025 Accredited Testing Lab for Rockwell Hardness Tests, Cable Break and Crush Tests. Its accredited ISO 17025 Calibration Services are available in the company’s environmentally controlled laboratory located in Brampton, Ont., or at the customer’s location.
DMM’s 360-degree approach to service also includes a quick turnaround, quality assurance, on-site lab or pick-up and delivery, online tracking of calibrations, customized service, new instruments, replacement and repairs, as well as web sales solutions.
