Manufacturers requiring quality threaded bushings from a Canadian manufacturer that offers competitive pricing and takes pride in its excellent customer service should consider Collison-Goll. The Weston, Ont.-based company makes threaded bushings that are custom designed to meet a customer’s specific needs in a wide range of sizes and materials, such as various grades of steel, brass, bronze, copper and nylon.
The company’s machined products are cut from bar stock and are available in both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It can also add knurling to bushings to make them easy to grip for installing or removing by hand.
“We have an array of fine-tuned equipment that allows us to produce complex, precision parts with fast turnaround times,” the company says.
Its twin-spindle, multi-axis CNC lathes can machine up to 10-inch slugs and three-inch round material. The company has several Swiss CNC machines that allow it to manufacture complex parts of extended lengths.
With 65 years of experience and several large customers — i.e., Carter Fuel Systems, Masco, Caterpillar, GM, TRW, ITW, Gates and Stanley Black & Decker — Collison-Goll knows what it takes to keep its customers happy.
“We know how critical it is to communicate with customers in a timely and effective manner,” the company says. “We will work with you from the time you request a quote until all your parts are shipped.”
Once the parts are machined, Collison-Goll also offers a number of finishing services, including heat treatment, plating or coating, honing, thread sealing and more. The company can also create custom packaging for a customer’s components.
