An auto parts manufacturer in Oakville, Ont., required an enclosure engineered to “sound proof” a testing environment in its manufacturing facility. A quiet environment was needed to perform “shaker” tests on upscale automotive instrument panels. The “shaker” listens for rattles, squeaks or noises, and must be housed in a quiet room — not an easy task when it’s situated in a busy manufacturing environment.
Using standard System 40 components, a modified Provincial Partitions System 40 enclosure was engineered to sound proof the testing environment. With the modifications to the patented System 40 walls, Provincial Partitions was able to achieve a 43 per cent sound reduction.
Flexibility and convenience with the ease of modular plug-and-play is what makes the patented System 40 the ideal space management choice for many applications. Office space needs change, and Provincial Partitions' System 40 has the built-in flexibility to make relocations, expansions and customization simple. Assembly is accomplished without mechanical fasteners, and all panels are interchangeable. Users can reconfigure any wall, door, glazed window or entire structure used in Provincial Partitions’ patented system. The options are infinite.
