Continental Conveyor has been designing, engineering and manufacturing mechanical bulk material handling equipment and systems for more than 50 years.
The company has two modern manufacturing plants — in Thetford Mines, Que., and Napanee, Ont. — which produce belt conveyors, screw conveyors, conveyor pulleys, conveyor idlers, bucket elevators, vibrating feeders and conveyors, bin activators, en masse chain conveyors, screw reclaimers, stoker reclaimers, stackers, apron feeders and weighfeeders. Continental Conveyor also designs and develops custom engineered systems.
“We will save you time and money, as we are equipped to be the single source for all your material handling equipment,” the company says.
There are several factors that have helped propel Continental Conveyor to success over the years, including its experienced team of 10 engineers, 15 mechanical designers, 15 support staff, 10 sales staff and 100 manufacturing staff. In addition, its production facilities feature numerous specialty production machines, including plate shears, press brakes, plate bending rolls and pantographs, which allow them to make top-quality mechanical bulk material handling products. Both plants also have in-house shot-blast cleaning facilities, and machine shops that perform milling, turning and boring. And the company’s quality assurance practices help maintain precise control over manufacturing tolerances.
All of these factors have contributed to the production of high-quality material handling products that serve a wide variety of industries, including pulp and paper, mining, cement, reconstituted wood panels, smelting and reduction, food processing, quarrying, chemical, power plants and ports.
