The eDAQlite data acquisition system is the “go anywhere, test anything”’ compact version of the popular SoMat eDAQ system from HBM SoMat. Engineered using the same technology, the eDAQlite has similar leading-edge signal conditioning and a capacity to perform a broad range of complex tasks easily, making it the ideal choice for small channel count applications where compactness and ruggedness are essential.
Many features and advantages
The eDAQlite is a standalone system that can handle on-board data processing, triggering, intelligent data storage and complex computations. Plus, it is easy to set up. The unit is simply installed inconspicuously behind a dashboard panel, for example, to collect data under discrete conditions. Once installed, intelligent data storage collects relevant measurement data in a condensed, manageable form, with sample rates up to 100 KHz.
The unit is also easy to use. There is no learning curve, new software or file formats to learn, which means that customers can be up and running fast, successfully collecting data in challenging environments. And, for customers just starting out, the eDAQlite system has lower startup costs, and can easily be expanded as their needs change.
Another bonus: the system is rugged and sealed, enabling it to be used in extreme environments and temperatures ranging from -20 to 65 degrees C.
The system has a wide range of input power, from 10 to 55 VDC, and enables ethernet communications. Thanks to these features and more, countless configurations are possible.
This unit is available in Canada through Durham Instruments, a leading provider of high-quality electronic instrumentation and data acquisition and control systems. To learn more about eDAQlite, contact Durham Instruments.
