The ClipX also stores EN10204-compliant calibration records, which enables complete traceability. Users can combine the sensors with the SD01A Zener barrier to operate them as intrinsically safe instruments in potentially explosive atmospheres.

The device can provide a high sample rate and high bandwidth for simpler use in automation, fast setup and diagnosis, full support of Transducer Electronic Data Sheets, and transmission and computation of measured values between as many as six instruments.
