When an application calls for the precise acquisition of voltages up to 1,000 volts, HBM has the solution. Its QuantumX MX403B four-channel module is the ideal tool to measure small differential voltages at a high electric potential. This high level of protection is guaranteed through compliance with the latest versions of relevant standards, including the IEC 61010 measuring instrument standard. The module has also received certification and production monitoring by the German VDE Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies.
The QuantumX MX403B has four isolated differential measurement channels for direct measurement of voltages up to 1000 VDC or 1000 Vrms AC. The measuring ranges of 10, 100 and 1,000 volts can be freely parameterized, and enable the acquisition of high voltages against reference ground, as well as the measurement of small differential voltages at a high potential against reference ground.
Each of the four channels offers analog anti-aliasing filters, 24-bit AD converter and digital filters. Plus, they can be parameterized individually. Seamless integration into the established QuantumX Series means synchronous acquisition of mechanical, electrical and thermal quantities is possible, as well as the acquisition of CANbus signals.
Wide range of applications
Designed for CAT II and CAT III measurement category applications, the module can be used in a lab, test bench or in the field. The large number of potential applications includes the testing of mechatronic components with electrically driven actuators, as well as the dynamic testing of energy storage devices.
