A large, multinational, heavy stamping car parts manufacturer wanted to replace its existing guard house facility with a more modern, functional structure. It turned to Provincial Partitions, a leading modular structures construction company, for help.
At the entrance to the client’s plant, there was an inoperative weight scale ramp that was originally slated for demolition. The team decided to repurpose the ramp to provide elevation for the new structure, eliminating the high costs of a demolition.
The new guard house, a steel frame exterior building measuring 10 feet by 26 feet, was built entirely at Provincial Partitions’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ont. The unit was delivered fully turnkey and was ready for services to be hooked up the same day. The new structure included a washroom and fully automated windows. The exterior stairwell accommodated a modification to the entranceway to include the addition of a handicap lift.
