Bohne Spring is a leader in manufacturing precision mechanical springs. But it is so much more than that. With a history dating back to 1891, the Toronto-based manufacturer of quality springs, wire forms and metal stampings has developed a solid reputation for continuous improvement and effective cost management. It has a culture that fosters quality, trust, teamwork, self management, innovation and leadership, and is known for its excellent service and dependability.
Whether supplying standard or custom wire forms, stampings, compression, extension or torsion springs to the automotive, aerospace, defence, consumer goods or telecommunications industries across North America, the company strives for complete customer satisfaction, which is why it offers short lead times, 100 per cent traceability and competitive pricing. In addition, the company is ISO 9002:2008 and TS16949:2009 registered, demonstrating its commitment to the quality of its springs.
Bohne Spring also offers a heat treating service, consisting of an austempering line that hardens and tempers spring steel in the range of HRC 42-47. Austempering is an isothermal heat treatment applied to ferrous metals, primarily steel and iron. This treatment produces baintite structures in steel and ausferrite structures in iron that improve mechanical properties and reduces distortion, a process that once again demonstrates the company’s commitment to producing quality products.
Bohne Spring is the kind of supplier companies strive to work with. It has the equipment (CNC coiling machines), products, experience and expertise to do the job right the first time, every time.
