The Blacoh Sentry line of pulsation dampeners, surge suppressors and inlet stabilizers are available from York Fluid Controls. Designed to protect pumps and other system components, these products can prevent premature failure of pumps, agitation of the product and damage to the system. They are available with a variety of options to suit the application.
Sentry dampeners, suppressors and stabilizers can be supplied in a full range of materials to offer chemical resistance for corrosive applications. These products also feature a simple, reliable design that enables fast installation and makes in-line maintenance easy. All housings for Sentry products are made in the United States, and each Sentry unit is tested for proper function and leak-free operation.
The range of Sentry products are available with many options. For instance, sanitary and flow-through models are available for applications in the biotech, food and pharmaceutical industries. Some of the different types available include plastic, metal and high pressure varieties. Custom-made Sentry models are available ranging up to 100 gallons (378.5 litres) and 25,000 psi (1,724 bar).
The various models offer temperature ranges from -51 to 204 degrees C (-60 to 400 degrees F). They also offer positive displacement pump discharge sizes ranging from 3.18 to 152.4 millimetres (1/8 to six inches).
Plastic Sentry units are available in materials including PVC, CPVC, PVDF, machined PTFE, polypropylene, conductive polypropylene, and conductive acetal. High pressure models are available in 316L stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy 20 and Hastelloy C. There are also several bladder material options for Sentry units, including Aflas, Buna, EPDM, PTFE, Viton, FDA Buna, Hypalon, neoprene and Santoprene.
