Kimo Instruments’ smart wireless manifold probes feature an all-in-one mobile application that is easy to use and allows users to complete a number of critical tasks using one device.
An all-in-one app
Kimo Instruments’ digital manifold and vacuometer devices feature benefits that were previously only available to HVAC installers when they used multiple instruments, thanks in large part to the free Polar App. The app, which can be used for both iOS and Android operating systems, has the capability to perform data logging, tightness tests, pressure target settings, vacuum function, heating and cooling functions, and more. It provides Bluetooth technology up to 30 metres, and has the ability to store and update up to 125 refrigerants, including environmentally friendly low global warming potential (GWP) and natural refrigerants. Pressure, condensation/evaporation, pipe and ambient temperatures, as well as vacuometer measurements, are instantly provided on the Polar App. This eliminates the need for manual calculations, saving the user time.
Users can also save and export using the app. It enables them to export reports in PDF, CSV and XML formats, and send them via email. In addition, dataset can be saved and restarted, which is a very useful function for long interventions.
The app is also user-friendly with its easy-to-read digital gauge, table and graphic visualizations.
