Alpha Controls & Instrumentation, a leading supplier of measuring, sensing and controlling instruments, is proud to offer a vast range of instrumentation from the world’s top manufacturers. In particular, Alpha is proud to carry products from Lascar, a provider of data loggers, digital panel instruments, and custom design and manufacturing solutions.
Lascar's EasyLog data loggers are the world's first direct USB data loggers, providing a cost-effective, easy-to-use method of recording temperature, humidity, voltage, 4-20mA and carbon monoxide. Their extensive range of panel instruments and voltmeters provide display solutions for a wide range of applications within the instrumentation and sensors industries. A couple of the company’s products are highlighted below.
The EL-USB-2-LCD measures and stores up to 16,379 relative humidity and 16,379 temperature readings over zero to 100 per cent RH and -35 to 80 degrees C (-31 to 176 degrees F) measurement ranges. This standalone data logger is easy to use, and allows data to be seamlessly downloaded by plugging the module into a PC’s USB port. At the touch of a button, users can cycle between the current temperature and humidity, along with their maximum and minimum stored values. Furthermore, relative humidity, temperature and dew point data can then be graphed, printed and exported to other applications. The high contrast LCD can show a variety of temperature and humidity information, plus it is supplied with a long-life lithium battery that typically lasts for up to one year.
This data logger measures and stores up to 32,000 current loop readings over a 4-20mA DC measurement range. It features a pair of screw terminals, and is supplied complete with a set of measurement leads terminating in crocodile clips. The EL-USB-4 data logger possesses flashing red and green LEDs, a long-life lithium battery, as well as the ability to graph, print and export data to other applications. In addition, the user can easily set up the logging rate and start time, and download the stored data by plugging the module straight into a PC’s USB port.
