If you’re looking for torque sensors with a variety of interface methods, Durham Instruments is your one-stop shop. Our TIM-EC detects torque and speed-readings and uses an EtherCAT system to transmit them for greater speed and accuracy. Functioning on a similar principle, the TIM40 has an Ethernet interface and can scale, filter and zero signals.
If these don’t suit your needs, we also carry a range of torque flanges and transducers. The CS-T-04-MDEX has an explosion proof casing that makes it perfect for use in natural gas applications and can reach rates of 150 kNm. The CS-T-08, meanwhile, obtains readings within 0.1 per cent of complete accuracy, while the T10F includes innovative technology that takes stress as a determinant of torque.
We also sell slip rings such as the SK5, SK6 and SK12 assemblies, which are durable and designed for rotational torque measurement from stationary positions. The T4A transducer, meanwhile, can rotate at up to 4,000 RPM and measure torque up to one kNm.
