Steel bushed chains
Our steel bushed chains feature bushings that are machined to precise specifications to optimize wear resistance and strength. This precision machining helps maintain high sidebar interference, resulting in positive sidebar hold and favourable residual stress. The bushings are also case hardened and heat treated.
These chains also offer other tough components such as pins made of select alloy steel or high-quality carbon steel. In addition, the pins are hardened to offer superior strength and service life. This combination of surface hardness and core toughness allows these pins to offer resistance to both wear and impacts. Another rugged component is the fatigue-resistant sidebars. These sidebars are through hardened for ultra-high strength. Over the years, we have developed superior methods of guaranteeing sidebar hole quality and pitch control.
