Pressure Sensitive Tapes & Films

Pressure sensitive tapes & films are available from Enflo Canada Ltd. These products are available in broad array of sizes, material types, and finishes. We have been providing high quality PTFE products for many years. Our company was established in 1956 with a focus on molded products. Since then, we have grown to become one of the largest manufacturers in the industry. Today, our product offering includes a variety of sheeting, rods, tubing, cylinders, and custom parts. Our two manufacturing plants blend reprocessed PTFE in-house so that we can guarantee the quality of our all materials. We aim to provide every customer with the most cost-effective products to meet their needs.

Pressure sensitive tapes & films

Our pressure sensitive tapes are made from PTFE. They are treated and coated with an acrylic adhesive that is rated for service in temperatures up to 180 F (82.22 C).

Here are some specifications on our pressure adhesive tape:

Thickness of Material (Inches)

Widths: 12", 24", 36", 48"

.003 .004 .005 .010 .015 .020 .030

Slit Widths: 1/2" wide or wider in 1/16" increments in thicknesses of .003" to .030"

The adhesive is backed with paper and adds about .003" to the thickness of the tape. The available material types for these our tapes and film include virgin, Enflon, reprocessed, and super PTFE.

We cans also supply skived PTFE tape, and we perform sodium-ammonia etching to allow adherence to other surfaces. The etching surface treatment process overcomes the excellent lubricating characteristics and non-stick properties of PTFE to ensure reliable bonding. Etching can be provided on just one or both sides.

Tape & film manufacturing process

We offer a wide range of materials so our customers can always find the best option for their specific requirements. For instance, we offer Super PTFE. This modified material features superior physical properties when compared to standard virgin PTFE. It is available either 100 per cent virgin or with added fillers. Just some of the benefits include weldability, better dielectric strength, decreased deformation under load, and increased compressive strength.

Industries we serve

Enflo Canada has a diverse customer base. We often serve customers from many different sectors. Just some of the industries we have served in the past include oil & gas, aerospace, medical, food & beverage, and research.
