We supply compounds that are ideal for honing out rough surfaces and bores that are out-of-round. Our abrasive stones are specially formulated to cut a range of metals and alloys such as mild steel, stainless steel, hardened steel, iron, chrome, Monel, Hastelloy, and Inconel. The abrasive stones available include vitrified, resin bond, aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, and diamond metal bond.
Abrasive cloths are also available. Our aluminum oxide resin cloth is ideal for getting rid of barrel scratching, and will produce a fine surface finish. We can supply cloth in rolls measuring 50 yards in length, and ranging from 3 to 36 inches in width.
Harmonic silencers are available to lower the noise levels of honing operations. The silencers are made of wood and are protected with a steel shell.
