Nylon Bearings Applications

These nylon bearings are meant to be used in most conveyor hangers with moderate loads and speeds and temperatures ranging from -40F to 220F.

Style A bearings can be used in the food industry. FDA-approved white 101 nylon can be used to make these bearings. Style A bearings are for hanger frames 26B, 28B, 220, 226 and 228. Style B bearings are for hanger frames 17B, 18B, 19B, 217, 218 and 219.

Nylon Bearings Manufacturing Process

These bearings are made from a moly filled nylon. This nylon is created when an exact amount of molybdenum disulfide added to Type 6/6 nylon. This gives the bearings a steel gray color and improves their work performance by making them resistant to corrosion and abrasion. Because less heat is generated when they are used, they can be used in a wide range of temperatures. Built-in lubricant causes them to perform even when lubricant fails. In some cases, bearings continue to work when no outside lubricant is available.

Tapco also has 1 million buckets in stock. We have 15 million elevator bolts, along with belt splices, abrasion-resistant sheeting, drag flights and hanger bearings.
