Material handling buckets
At Tapco Inc., our various sizes and styles of buckets can suit varied needs. We make agricultural buckets from polyethylene, nylon and urethane. Nylon buckets remain durable even while being used for operations that expose them to great abuse. Urethane buckets are intended for high through-put or abrasive applications. Polyethylene and urethane buckets are made with FDA-compliant resins. Nylon buckets can be made with FDA-compliant resin on request.
Our standard agricultural buckets are the CC-HD and CC-XD buckets. The two styles are interchangeable and have the same capacity. CC-XD is a heavy-duty version of CC-HD. We also manufacture "low profile" versions of these buckets. These styles allow you to put more buckets on the elevator, increasing the amount of materials that can be moved. Tapco also produces EuroBuckets, designed to replace many European-style buckets, including Starco and EuroJet buckets.
We also carry industrial buckets. Many are made from steel, but we also carry buckets from ductile iron and aluminum. Our industrial buckets come with different sized fronts - low, medium, and high - to accommodate various amounts of material. Our high-front buckets can also come in an overlapping style. This prevents product loss because materials don't leak out between buckets.
Material handling bucket applications
Tapco buckets transport a variety of materials. Our agricultural buckets are best suited for grains, salts, various beans and different chemicals. Our industrial buckets are best for various types of sand, gravel and clay. Buckets can be made to comply with FDA standards.
Material handling bucket manufacturing process
We make our buckets from prime virgin materials. We use "slow-burning" polyethylene. It is tested under the ASTM Test No. D635. Some of our polyethylene buckets meet Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 302 and Underwriters Laboratory Bulletin No. 94. Buckets are engineered and injection-moulded in-house.
We would welcome the chance to explain which buckets will work best for you, and provide relevant safety information. Free product samples are available upon request.
