Tapco Inc. can provide chute liners for material handling applications including gravel, grain, and woodchips. We supply sheeting and roll stock of Tapco-Thane as well as ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene sheets. Tapco-Thane is a polyurethane elastomer that is molded into sheet form. It is designed to provide exceptional abrasion resistance. In addition to chute liners, we offer an inventory of 900,000 elevator buckets, 14 million bolts, as well as North America's largest inventory of drag flights and hanger bearings. We can supply the products you need, on time, and at competitive prices.
Tapco-Thane is available in Standard and Hi-Rebound varieties. Hi-Rebound Tapco-Thane sheeting offers advantages including reduced fire hazard, reduced hydrolysis problems, and superior rebound characteristics, while Standard Tapco-Thane sheeting provides a high wear to cost ratio. It also available in a wider range of sizes and with more options for backing. The backing options include expanded metal back, fabric back, plain back, slotted metal back, and embedded ceramic chip with expanded metal back.
Our Tapco-Thane sheeting roll stock can be supplied by the roll, cut into specific lengths, or in standard 4 by 10 foot sheets. The rolls measure four feet wide by 50 feet long. Tapco-Thane roll stock is available in various thicknesses ranging from 1/8 inches to 1/2 inches.
UHMW polyethylene sheeting is also available. This chute liner material features FDA and USDA approval, and a low coefficient of friction.
By performing injection molding in-house, we have been able to manufacture our buckets with exceptional quality control and cost effectiveness. We have nine injection molding machines ranging up to a 1,000 ton press. This equipment enables us to manufacture a wide range of products in an expedient manner.
Tapco Inc. was founded the early 1970's with the aim to fill a void in the elevator bucket industry. Back then, nonmetallic buckets were only available from one manufacturer in the United States. Today we offer the world's largest inventory of elevator buckets and bolts.
